ATI HD4850 HDMI AUDIO DRIVER DOWNLOAD

I switched back to the adapter and sound still doesn't work do I need to reboot after switching cables or something? When i used an adapter I got from a , I got the screen working, but there's no option to switch to the hdmi audio. I recently bought this HD to replace the HD in one of my systems. It does not allow audio with this cable even though some of the reviews on this cable said that it does transmit audio. If they were just adding two channels, and needed the extra pins for that, why didn't they design it so that it would work with the old adapters but only supply 5.

And to verify something, the audio does, in-fact, come with hr4850 video drivers, since when I installed the drivers for my at home, it made the ati audio default.
